I hope Boxster S people are welcome here. Most of the 987 boards are kinda slow and lame

Hi, type987s. As a recent 987 Boxster owner and more recent arrival to The Cayman Club, may I welcome you.

I'm new to all things Porsche, but I've considered the slowness of a certain Boxster board I like. I know you cited "987 boards", not 'Boxster boards', but: I suspect it's that the Boxster is a mature platform and familiar concept by now. It's not that it no longer commands enthusiasm or even fanaticism, but culturally it is a norm. The Cayman, however, is a Brand New Thing. I imagine that especially for the Porsche faithful, the Cayman is the first truly exciting development that one might hope to own, since... well, since the Boxster.

See you online.

Snaxster

Welcome to the board! The only stipulation is that we will furthermore refer to your Boxster as a Cayman convertible.
