Changed my spoiler lip color to Titanium Metallic. It is a more subtle shade than the aluminum stock as you can see from the comparison pics. I think the Titanium complements my Cobalt CS better and even takes on highlights from the Cobalt in bright light. Perfect match to the headlight rims and other parts. Total cost: about $95 (includes new OEM lips, rivets, and paint).

do you have any before / after pics? iŽd like to see the direct difference on the car.
ps. what did you need to paint? i thought the lips were just clip-ons?
Nick664: Check out my gallery pictures. The new titanium lips are labeled. The other have the original lips. All I had to paint were the lips themselves. They are attached by plastic rivets. Pushing the center pin in the rivet up releases the rivet. Just pull the rivets down and then the lip can be pulled (with some care) away from the bumper. Replacement is the reverse and a breeze.
John H: No, I hadn't really considered it. But now that I see Stevie's pics I may have to reconsider. They look nice.
Crocrr: Thanks.

Hmm... looks mighty close in color to Seal Gray/Meteor Gray.
Are these available direct from Porsche or were they custom painted? Where did you buy?
Thanks,
Brad

I purchased stock black lips from Porsche of New Orleans ($32 each) and a Titanium Metallic can of spray paint from PaintScratch.com and did it myself. I put on a coat of clearcoat to give some sheen and stuck them back on the car. Took a few days of right temps and humidity for the paint but other than that the job was straitforward and easy. If you bought from Porsche direct = big bucks. I'm going to respray the original lips in Cobalt a soon as it warms up a bit to see how that looks as well.

Resprayed the spare lips in Cobalt from Paintscratch.com. The job came out beautifully but the paint is a shade too dark. I will try again with paint from www.automotivetouchup.com to see is they can get it right. Hope so.

They are reusable. The trick is recovering the center pin of the rivet after you push it up into the bumper bodywork. After pushing all the center pins up and removing the rivets, remove the spoiler lip and tap gently at the holes where the rivets were, the pins should roll out onto the garage floor by force of gravity. If you lose one or two, they are very inexpensive___35 cents each at your dealership. I keep extras just in case.
