Gas modification: HP gain???
How would you folks quantify the increase in performance from running 101 octane at the track versus 91 (best we can get in CA at the pump)?

Anyone do any testing?

Dynos?

Any comment?

Is it worth double the price?

Dave - basically, your car will run better on a higher octane gas but only up to the 93 octane that it is optimized for. Anything more than that is a waste of money.

Want to read a lot more about this? I did a quick search of the knowledge database (I also remembered the thread) and found this:

Yep. Thanks for the advice. We did a 50/50 mix of 91/101.
