EVO-MS billet shift linkage

Hello,

Does anyone here have any experience or opinions on the EVO-MS shift linkage that bumperplugs offers with the B&M shifter? I would love to hear from anyone who has used the product(s) because I'm scared the linkage will add more stiffness or heaviness to the shifts, something I don't want as the B&M is stiff enough I'm sure.

Thanks,
Suneet

Hi Suneet, we use them mostly in the 996s we install B&M kits in because the 996 shifter linkage was notorious for breaking (the ball/seat) and leaving people somewhat stranded. On the 997s and Cayman S' we found that Porsche used an improved "updated" version of the linkage. It's still plastic but so far it does seem to hold up nicely. Since you're in there though it's nice to have the billet one thrown in- I mean it doesn't change _anything_ in terms of the feel. The SSK kit does but not the linkage.
