Hey folks, just a quick word to let you know that Garrett@GIAC sent out new files for the Tiptronic Cayman S. Previously we were only able to flash the 6speeders but now the Tip guys have a file as well

Alex - based on your recent threads, the ECU upgrade will increase the redline to 7500 rpm, is it the same for the Tiptronic?; and what exactly is the e-gas remapping, i do not have the sport mode.
Thanks.

Hey lowfat, it's the same thing that we do to the 6speed cars in terms of the options. The e-gas is just what we call the electronic throttle control (you have no throttle cable) and so that can be repgrommed for better throttle response- sort of like the sport chrono if you will.. You do not need to have the sport mode to take advantage of it...

Hi sharkster,

I am in LA. Seems like you are in bay area. It would be nice to ride and see the difference, but not sure if you can do that.

Thanks.
