Where to buy Hawk pads?

Just bought an 06 Cayman (Cobalt Blue) last week and this is my first post to the forum. This car is as great as the magazines say it is!

I want to replace the brake pads with Hawk HPS pads as per the article posted in the "Articles" section. Where can you buy the pads? I've checked TireRack and porterfield-brakes but to no avail. Are they the same as the Boxster pads?

Thanks in advance.

Brian

Tirerack is a hawk distributor. They may not have the application on thier web site yet, but if one exists they can get it. Try calling. Or try Essex Parts, they are the US brake guru's for race teams (and street)...

Hawk Hps

I got mine from:

ajusa.com

or

Weston MotorSports
888-558-0631

Hawk fronts: HB291.f.642
Hawks HB29OF.583

Tirerack probably has them but they are too big for their own pritches. They don't know what fits what.

Thanks for the info...So, according to the part numbers, Caymans use the same exact pads as the Boxsters then?

I am not planning to track my car...I just want minimal dust. I read about the Hawk Ceramic pads. Seems like they might be the cleanest? Any bad or good about the Ceramics? Thanks for all of the help. This is a great board.
