Greetings. Forgive me as I know there are a lot of threads related to this topic but perhaps someone can help right quick. I want to keep my car stock, at least for some time. But I do want to get more agressive looking exhaust tips that fit to the stock exhaust. And I know there are cooler ones than the upgrade option Porsche offers. I like the look of two round flared pipes sort of resembling rocket engines. Any pointers on who offers ones like that that will fit the stock exhaust? Thanks much. -Steve
Fabspeed makes some tips, also Porsche Tequipment tips are very nice.
Fabspeed
Fabspeed manufactures the world’s highest quality “MAXFLO” T304 Stainless Steel exhaust systems, carbon fiber style high performance air intake systems and more for Porsche, Ferrari, Maserati and Lamborghini cars.
Would any of these Magnaflow exhaust tips work on the Cayman? They're double-walled, T-304 polished stainless steel, and about 1/3rd the cost of OE equipment.
Exhaust tips are pretty low-tech...let's face it - it's just a collection of small welded tubes that Porsche charges $400 for, so as long as the Magnaflow tips are the same rough dimensions and fit, I can't imagine they wouldn't work.
This one might look nice, but those might be a bit too long. Specs say the Magnasflows are 10" long, I guess I just need to go outside and measure...

I believe the AWE muffler tip should also work. There catback system works with either the stock tip or their tip so I'm assuming that their tip will also work on the stock catback system. You might want to call them to verify. Their tip costs $395.

$400 for a exhaust tip, excessive to say the softest way possible. Cmon, is it made out of pure titanium that was polished by a virgin from Cuba who smuggled cigar seeds in her loins. How do you justify charging $400

i been shopping online for exhaust tip yesterday, and i found plenty of good ones for around $50. in my opinion, no need to pay $350 for just a Tip.....
thenewguy, did you find anything that fit the size. A lot of them are too long.
