So I get the car home (Dealership sent someone to the airport to pick me up from my return flight) and I relieve my parents from watching my son whom they were babysitting until I arrived. We all go out into the garage to check out the Cayman S and my son who is almost 2 starts to fuss.

He says 'Down' 'Down' meaning he wants me to set him down, so I do. He proceeds to run around the car to the driver's side, how he knows to do this I have no idea he has never ever done this before on any other car. He goes to the door handle and starts tugging and saying 'Drive' 'Drive'.

He doesn't even know that word yet, at least as far as we know he's NEVER said it before! So I open the car door and he literally climbs into the seat puts a hand on the wheel and then the stick shift meanwhile saying 'Drive Drive'.

I was flabbergasted, I asked my parents to watch him a second while I ran for the digital camera and snapped the following pictures:






Now I simply have to get that babyseat LATCH bracket and switch installed ASAP so he can go for a ride, he's little too young to drive but considering how much he fussed when I took him out of the car he is already wanting to borrow the keys.

I was totally blown away by his reaction, I couldn't ask for a better son!!!

Wonderful! Might as wll start saving for his Porsches now. (my first word according to my mother was 'car', I sort of drove a bull dozer when I was 4 so look where that got me---several hundred thousands of dollars spent on cars---don't let you babies grow up to be Porsche lovers--as if you had a choice[img]/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/drive.gif[/img]
