Finally got the new car ready for the open road after having Premier Mobile do a fantastic extended coverage clear bra (everything up to but not including the windshield) installation. The test was a drive down the California coast from our home in Half Moon Bay (about 30min south of San Francisco) to Big Sur. The weather was ideal and the sense you get from driving this fine machine was superb. Many postings came to mind during the trip, especially the ones about listening to the engine. In fact, now that I think of it, the Bose radio was never even turned on the whole time!
First photo op was Pigeon Point Lighthouse. The lighting wasn't great with the sun low in the sky, but...
Then it was off to Big Sur, about 25-30 miles south of Carmel.
And the ultimate complement was when I saw these two women taking photos of each other with the incredible backdrop below. They then changed their orientation so my CS was the backdrop. Also note the guy with the camera checking out the car before going over to the edge to photo nature's scenery.
A complement when you consider this was the view people stop there for...
Then it was back to Carmel for the night...our favorite town. This morning we took the `upper class' route, stopping by Pebble Beach.
And lastly, Cypress Point GC...even with a brand new CS, we were not allowed in!
