Thanks for the info on the option code but my dealer here in the States can't find that code. Anyone know whether this option code CES is available stateside??

To be honest I'd save your money.

The iPod Musicplayer interface is very dissapointing. Audio quality via its FM attena hookup is poor. There is background hiss during periods of silence and track gaps. No control of iPod via console. No CD or track information displayed either. I recommend you buy a Dension or Mobridge. I probably will at some point as I've reverted to CDs now.

My Guards Red CS with black SD wheels is due in four weeks and seeing yours has me pretty excited. Only exterior differences will be no Cayman designation on the side and I'm having my side vents painted black.

Good job and a beautiful car. I was going to suggest a center console in the exterior color, but then I nothed that it is CF.....nice touch.

Regarding the ipod, if you don't have the 6 cd changer, my dealer says you can put a jack in the glove box and plug into the 6 cd changer input on the stereo. He hasn't got back to me yet with a quote so I'll believe it when I see it.

They are being honest, they are calling your attention to either a Mobridge or Denison unit. I currently have a Mobridge setup and it works. Total cost was $800 installed. I can post pictures if you want.
