Another CS owner in St. Louis

I’ve been waiting to do the obligatory first post until I had some pics. I needed a warm day to get the car clean. Today was the day. Cleaned and sealed with Zaino. I picked it up a few weeks ago. It’s a 2006 Seal Grey Cayman S. Important options: Sport Chrono, PASM, Sport Shifter, Sport Steering Wheel. I will be tracking it frequently. I did the BBI underdrive pulley with the help of a friend Dan (STLPCA). On the short list for upcoming mods is an exhaust. I’m also really curious about the Softronic software/plenum mod, when it comes out. This car is replacing a 2002 C4S.

Thanks! I do like the look of the wheels. The color works well with Seal Grey. There is only one problem. Pilot Sport Cups don't come in the stock rear size for these 19's.

congrats!

Well another one in StL! Hey, sounds like StL PCA will be Cayman friendly Where did you find yours? Was that the one from Springfield?

I need to get my underdrive mod before my first track day. Is there someone you can recommend in the area, for pay of course? Reid Vann? I don't trust myself when it comes to anything engine related.

It's an easy and fun DIY with the right tools. I'm happy to help you (gratis of course). I've now done 4 bbi UDP installs. I'll also volunteer Mike and his reciprocating cordless saw. Drop me a PM with your contact info and we can set something up.

Are you registered for our DE 4/5-6 at GIR?

I'd be happy to help or at least loan my saw. It's a weird feeling taking a reciprocating saw to your Porsche engine right after you bought it. The install is no big deal, especially with STLPCA's help.

Mine came from a dealer in Chicago. None of the ones from Springfield that I saw came with Sport Chrono and PASM. Both were requirements for me.
