Check out this new film, called Pursuit, featuring my Cayman S. It's directed by Evan Vetter, and photographer Chris Davis was the assistant director. Evan is the Director of E*Media at our church, Port City Community Church in Wilmington, NC. We're currently doing a four week series on Wisdom, and the film was created as the video introduction, or "bump", preceding the sermon each week.
It was great fun shooting the film. That's me doing the stunt driving in my CS (but not playing the character - that's actor Shon Blotzer).
Go to Pursuit Intro HD on Vimeo to watch a full-screen HD version of the film. (If it looks jerky on your computer, click the button that says "HD is on" to turn it off.) Enjoy!

Bill..nice driving! I love the launch scene where you go around the corner quickly with wheels spinning. Did you take PSM off? I am not sure I could get my CS to do that and maybe for RnC III you could show me how? Although I think I just dont try to drive my car that hard in truth. Actually I have never turned PSM off while driving, of course you would just say I dont drive it enough!!! Baahaha
Anyway GREAT job and the video is good. Love the tag bouncing down the road....that must be a composite I assume.
PSM - Porsche Stability Management
While it can’t overcome the laws of physics, the revolutionary Porsche Stability Management (PSM) system does lend an added degree of balance and control to the Cayman’s mid-engine driving dynamics, inspiring surefooted confidence in corners and extreme situations.
A standard feature on the Cayman and Cayman S, PSM continuously monitors steering input, road speed, yaw velocity and lateral acceleration to calculate the actual direction of travel. If the car begins to steer off line, PSM instantly intervenes with precision brake inputs on individual wheels to help bring the car back onto the driver’s intended path.
If braking alone isn’t enough to correct the vehicle’s cornering line, PSM then calls on the Cayman’s engine management system, adjusting engine output as needed to help stabilize handling. PSM can also compensate in an instant for mid-corner changes in load resulting from deceleration or braking. When Sport mode is selected with the optional Sport Chrono Package, PSM’s threshold for intervention is raised, allowing for greater driver involvement. If you prefer driving without automatic PSM assistance, the system can be set to standby at any time. In this case, it will only intervene under heavy braking, where both front wheels exceed the ABS threshold.
For all of its technical ability, PSM goes virtually unnoticed in everyday driving situations, preserving the Cayman’s natural agility.

Evil drives an Escalade and Wickedness rides shotgun. They have kidnapped our hero's middle-school librarian, Wisdom, and he wants her back before his parents find out and his dad realizes that his 14 year old son has been dating the librarian at school and driving his Porsche.
Wisdom later tells authorities, "He seems a lot older than 14 with his facial hair and all."
Then Jesse Jackson shows up and wants to know "hwhy" Evil always drives an Escalade.
Great video.
