This is a partial of some video I took while driving home the other day. The road is my usual route to and from work. As you can tell it is bumpy. No animals were hurt in the filming of this video and no cars were passed illegally. Objects in video may appear faster or slower than they actually are - you just never really know .

Reason: Fixed you tube tag
Thats the greatest commute i have ever seen. I drive up flatbush avenue in brooklyn and the closest i get to a twisty is going around half a circle at grand army plaza.
Bravo. Love how the double yellows are purely a suggestion for ya

Thank you to the old people who put no miles on their porsches and trade them in.
I want to find something like that not too far from Boston. That would be so awesome to drive on weekends.
Unfortunately, unless I move to NC, that kind of commute is not possible. I just get to sit in the traffic.

If only we could get rid of cars in front of us as smoothly as you did in the video.

Carrara White / Sea Blue Interior / Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package / Leather Sport Seats / Heated Front Seats (like there's a back seat) / 18" Cayman S Wheels / Wheel Crest Caps / Sound Package Plus / DENSION ice->Link500 / Fire Extingusher / Automatic Climate Control
Cool road, I'll bet you can't wipe the smile off your face when you leave work and are walking to your car knowing that drive is ahead of you!! Do anther video, same drive only with PSM off!! I wanna hear some tire squealin!!
PSM - Porsche Stability Management
While it can’t overcome the laws of physics, the revolutionary Porsche Stability Management (PSM) system does lend an added degree of balance and control to the Cayman’s mid-engine driving dynamics, inspiring surefooted confidence in corners and extreme situations.
A standard feature on the Cayman and Cayman S, PSM continuously monitors steering input, road speed, yaw velocity and lateral acceleration to calculate the actual direction of travel. If the car begins to steer off line, PSM instantly intervenes with precision brake inputs on individual wheels to help bring the car back onto the driver’s intended path.
If braking alone isn’t enough to correct the vehicle’s cornering line, PSM then calls on the Cayman’s engine management system, adjusting engine output as needed to help stabilize handling. PSM can also compensate in an instant for mid-corner changes in load resulting from deceleration or braking. When Sport mode is selected with the optional Sport Chrono Package, PSM’s threshold for intervention is raised, allowing for greater driver involvement. If you prefer driving without automatic PSM assistance, the system can be set to standby at any time. In this case, it will only intervene under heavy braking, where both front wheels exceed the ABS threshold.
For all of its technical ability, PSM goes virtually unnoticed in everyday driving situations, preserving the Cayman’s natural agility.

I only cross the yellows when I have complete visibility ahead. If it is blind in any degree whatsoever I stay very strictly to my side. Sometimes I'll pass a large pickup or even dump truck and they are by default already over the line because the road is so narrow - can sort of take your breath away when you are going fast and come up on them around a blind curve

Since I knew nobody was even remotely close to being behind me when I came up on somebody I just stopped in the middle of the road and waited a couple minutes while they tottered their way along.

After work today was a great drive home though at a nice relaxed pace. Later went out to dinner and on my way took a back road which is about 7 miles long of pure twisty heaven and much smoother than the one in the video but just as tight. 70 degrees, windows down, wind rushing by, six cylinder symphony, and I didn't get behind a single person the whole way there. Absolutely amazing and without question one of my top five outings thus far (@ 3500 miles) Talk about a smile, just doesn't get much better than that when it comes to driving a Porsche. Some time I'll take some video of that road but will likely have to be early morning so I don't hit traffic.

Wow that reminds me of Roc the Croc last year and the Tail of the Dragon. You guys in NC are the luckiest Croc owners in the world. Your roads are made for the Cayman.
