I was supposed to be at the track TODAY but bad weather kept me home since my tires don't have a lot of tread left I wasn't going to risk it, so I used today to finish up my track prep and I snapped some photos that I thought might be of interest along the way.

First up is a comparison of my rear wheels and tires between my BBS RS-GT track wheels with MPSC tires and my replica Cayman S 18x10's with wider tires (same circumference as stock though, the track tires have a smaller circumference but are closest MPSC match until I get wider tracke wheels)







and how they fill out the wheel wells...





Ready to hit the track! Seats in, bar in, harness in, brakes changed, fluid changed, wheels/tires, etc.

I have to say that is pretty cool. Is that a magnetic decal? I assume those are not allowed on the track so do you remove it for each event? Just curious how well the adhesive holds up?

Hmmm...i will have to get some templates for coon and squirrel prints...its only a matter of time out here in the country. excellent taste, ken!

No they are vinyl, they stick on just like any other vinyl letters do, meaning they won't come off unless I yank them off. They are allowed on track and are still on my car.

dang that is one hardcore ride...the seats look frikkin sick in there!

You change your seats to go to the track ?

To save the weight, and be held in with a harness, darn skippy I do. I've got it down to a very easy swap now, just takes a little time, but less than it used to.
