Great to see, but I still do not understand how that can happen in a straight line, even with the mods...

Honestly... starting your car or filling it up is dangerous. Your point? The legality of it has no bearing on this topic, "J" walking is illegal in almost every metropolis in the US, does anyone care?

Public roads are a perfect place to have fun and open your Sports-cars up. Just as long as it is done with the up most responsibility and care. If we voted to remove these laws would it be any safer..? No, so lets not harp on the legality of it, but on whether or not it was a responsible place and time.

Which it was...!

OP, can you list your mods. I am somewhat surprised that a Cayman S (any mods) can keep up with a E92 BMW M3.

Looking at the power-to-weight ratio of the M3, it is possible for the CS to out-accelerate it provided that it churns out more than 340PS at the crank. Was the M3 faster from 0-100km? Its spec says 4.6 sec.

I think "Caynan s athens" asked the right question "Have you ever drive above the speed limit?" (checkmate)

I am sure that everyone drove over the speed limit/run over a red light/making illegal turn couple times. Here in VA, the speed limit is 55mph, but every one is driving 60+. When I was breaking in my car, I drove 50mph. people tried to run me over, and gave me the look, when they passed me.

If you are talking about legality, here in US, with 1 mph over, you are violating the law, which make it illegal. So drive over 1 mph, 10 mph, 20 mph, they are all illegal.

One person drives over speed limit is speeding, that is illegal.
Two people drive over speed limit and speeding at same time, that is still illegal.
What is a street racing? It is two people who are competing who will be speeding first (quicker reach 55mph) and speeding more, at same time.

So what’s the point?
It is no different than a murder who killed a person and points at another murder and said, “He killed two people, that is illegal! He is a criminal! He is dangerous! He should be arrested!”

And don't get me wrong, I am not saying street racing is good or NOT dangerous. I do agree with you that street racing is dangerous.

I just try to point out that you should support and more focus your argument on how dangerous to the drivers and general public than illegality.

No offense to anyone, and although I do get your point and agree, but its really annoying that "take it to the track" or "its illegal to race on the street" talk everytime someone mentions such thing.

You have different culture from us.

The road that you see is always empty.
