New suspension and GT3 seats plus CCW wheels (update: new pic!)
Just thought I would share a couple of pictures of my car with my JIC Cross suspension installed as well as a set of 996 GT3 seats and Schroth belts in the car.
The car sits a little lower but I kept the same rake (10mm higher in back) as stock. I also have a set of CCW C14 wheels that will be on the car shortly. I have a pic of the fronts (not on the car) so you can get the idea.
18x9"front and 18x10"rear with Toyo RA1's
Enjoy!
And now with the wheel son the car...

That looks great! No way can I get away with that ride height on my local roads. Post up picts when you get the wheels on, I'm curious to see how the red stripe will look on the gray.

You obviously have got your coilover problem resolved. Was it a complete rebuild ? Also, how do you like the ride with the Cross coilovers, and what setting are you using for street and track ?

Roll bar is the next purchas for sure. I'm kinda feeling out which one is best and fits the nicest.
The guys at JIC really helped me out and I want to thank Ben over there for sending out a new shock to replace a busted one in time for me to make my event. Good customer service.
The suspension is pretty stiff and I think I have it 5 clicks out from full hard. I have only done 1 track day with them so far so I have some adjusting to do. What about you? Any "zen" settings for me? I know what you mean about how loud they are, lots of clunks and such over sharp edge bumps (not that there are any in Montreal...i wish) but so far so good.
I should have my back wheels this week and so when I get them I'll mount them and snap a couple of pics and post them up. The wheels are nicely made and really light. John over at CCW is also super chill and had no qualms about sendin me out two new rears that should fit.
Unfortunatly, my nest track event is near the end of June so I guess I have some time to figure it all out.
Chris

Too bad that ride height would never work on my local roads.
I have to agree with Pete. Riding on the 19s without a lowered suspension is painful in NY. I have to give my BMW an alignment every year because of the roads. Good luck with it.

i know exactly what you are talking about. i changed twice my suspension on my RSX when i used to live in Montreal. beautiful city, crappy roads.
i digg the wheels and the drop. nice ride
