Hey everyone - Finally got the paperwork to register the car this last Tuesday, and today was the first nice day since, so I finally got the car out of the garage and put 40 quick miles on it this afternoon... some comments:

Very hard to keep it from hitting 5k rpm
Very smooth acceleration
VERY precise turn-in - the turbo pales in comparison
I'm more impressed with the sport shifter than I was the last time I drove it - wow...
I'm really glad I bought this car...

very pretty.....if you are interested in the color porsche emblems for your center caps....email me. im swapping my wheels out and will be using my 18's for the track only....dont need the color ones.

Brad, I was beginning to think you would never get this car on the road. The photo looks terrific and it appears that you have been spending the downtime applying a few coats of P21S. Very nice.

Santa Fe,

I was beginning to think the same thing... apparently it takes some time to get the statement of origin from PCNA - it was a very official document that had to come from Atlanta... but things are good now - gotta get through break-in quick, because I'm going to AX the car for the first time in N. Calif. on April 22.

Believe it or not, I'm still looking for the damn moving box with all my car-washing and waxing stuff in it. The movers were not exactly budding Shakespeares when it came to labeling the boxes... When I do, there will be many coats of P21S on this car.... man, it's dusty here in LV.

RR - I've had the colored crests on my wheels of all my 911s, and it seemed weird not to order them this time, but I wanted to see how the car looked without them this time - and it's kinda growing on me. They also changed the way they look from when I got my last set on the turbo in 2002, and I like the former style much better. If I do change, I'll probably try to find a set of the old style ones... thanks for the offer though, I appreciate it.
