Woot!! It's here! Gratz Coco ... can't wait to see u behind the wheel of that baby.
I know it's a whole weekend away, but I'll be living vicariously through you as mine has yet to get on the damn boat! Produced 4/27, and as of today CMPRD ... ugh ... soooooo, get some posts going like Shane ASAP so I can share your excitement.
Boy those are some big racing stripes! Just think, the longer you wait the newer your car is compared to those of us who already have them. I know that is a pretty weak argument to get you past the weekend. Sure looks pretty.
I also got the spare tire (collapsible one), and will have it installed in the front compartment. Will also have the lowjack and possibly 50% tints too. Anything else I am missing? Dealer here are very nice people, and anything I need they will do it. They are going to work on her saturday, get paperwork done, etc, so Monday 5pm I will drive her home at last. Taking my oldest son with me (a promise) for pick up and wife to a good restaurant. Time to pay my dues.....hasta la vista amigos...COCO LOCO

One funny comment. Since its obviously the first croc down here (notice the crowd around, and that is nothing, more people came afterwards asking questions, should have seen the grim in my face) everyone at the dealer asked me for a test spin.....I say hell no and took a picture of the odometer (haha). I will however let my salesman (really nice guy) take a supervised test drive with me....yes I will give the salesman a test drive...funny huh? COCO MUCHO WEEKEND LOCO

I am not happy that you have to wait through the weekend. You will not sleep well. And I hope your boss at work does not expect much from you Monday or Tuesday. Ha ha. Really happy for you man. Keep us informed!
Thanks guys.....well I hope it will the shortest weekend ever. Shane, yes, already did cancel all meetings for mon/tue. Hell, Ill take the week off. Ill try to convince my boss (wife) that I really need to spend time with my croc. Now back to hybernation....COCO

I read in your post that you ordered the collapsible spare tire, I am interested in ordering that option. Is that an option that you order from the factory or is it a dealer-installed item?
Thanks in advance!

TINS....there are several threads on this subject. Do the topic search. It sure does suck that one has to pay extra for a jack and a spare, but it is worth it IMHO. That in addition to TPMS. Looks compact and should fit nicely in the front trunk....Ill post pictures when I have it. You have to order that unless dealer has it in stock. As far as I understand its the same as the boxter, same as the indoor car cover....saludos COCO
TPMS
TPMS - The Tire Pressure Monitoring System provides early warning of any drop in pressure by continuously monitoring the pressure in each tire and alerting you in the onboard computer display in the event of a pressure deficiency. It communicates the exact pressure of each tire and/or their deviation from ideal pressure. This does away with the need for regular air pressure checks at the service station, which often prove highly inconvenient.
