There is no way a stock G35 is faster than a stock Cayman S in a straight line, sounds as if that G35 is modified, perhaps one of the ones with a supercharger installed...
In the beginning the CS was pulling away from the G35 on the straights but the G35 would catch him in the corners. I would have thought the CS would have been faster in the corners especially with the CS taking a better line.
It looked like the guy in the G35 was passing without a point by, its that okay at that track?
Oh yes, I loved the color of the Cayman, that red really stood out in the sun.
That looks like a guy named Ed. He has a G35 coupe with JWT twin turbo putting down over 500 hp. I think I read somewhere that he had about $100k invested in that car.
wouldn't be surprised if it was a twin turbo g35, but a stage 1 supercharged g35 wouldn't be able to pull on a cayman S like that. ( ran a sc g35 of a friends 60-120, nearly dead even)
that's a pretty nice g35 in the video, sounds really nice

Yeah I saw the Cayman pulling away in the corners and taking a better line in many instances and then the G35 having to play catch-up. There is no way a stock G35 could keep up with a stock Cayman S at the track unless there was a great disparity between the drivers.
Yeah, that was a really good film, very steady. I agree about how good that red looked; it was gleaming in the bright sunlight. It was a bit confusing to me. At times it seemed the G couldn't keep up and at times it seemed like it was keeping up without breaking much of a sweat (based on engine noise). That may have been the best film of a CS on the track I've seen so far.
Not only was that G35 hella-fast, but the guy drove aggresively to take positions. Definitely someone familar with racing, not just HPDE's. Good video!

Is there some sort of Cayman Club reality distortion field? Are we watching the same video? The Infiniti G35 beat the Porsche Cayman. There's no two ways about it. The Infiniti G35 beat the Porsche Cayman. Now, we can argue over whether it's because the Porsche had a bad driver or whether it was the Infiniti that had a bad driver or whether the cars where stock. But at the end of the day, the fact remains, the Infiniti G35 beat the Porsche Cayman. I was surprised at the result. I kept thinking this would never have happenned if the Porsche had more horsepower.
arrrack....paulie wants a cracker.....arrack....this never would have happened if the Porsche had more horsepower......arrack.... paulie wants a cracker....arrack....I sure regret buying my Cayman...
