Thanks everyone....its definately a dream house. I am blessed to even have the opp. to own it...it was held out of public for fourty years. Owner finally decided to sell. The house was on HGTV, and is featured in a local B movie...and has been published numerous times.
The worst part is just trying to keep it clean.....ahh but isnt that what we all say about the cars too?
Actually i have been talking via PM to a few cayman clubbers and am going to get two sets of 19 inch wheels...one for track, one for street. Both identical look.
Should I chose a certain type of wheel for the track. I have never owned a Porsche or been on a track. So any advise would be helpful. Keep in mind, I want to keep it stock for the most part. I am just not into mods.....much. Not enough time or knowledge. Though someone did say to me that you could change out the chip and replace it with the 911 chip. Anyone know anything about this? Cost? Easy? Done at dealership and still under warranty?
Finally, one last question, which I may search/post elsewhere.
Clearbra. On black paint, is it worth it?....Should I do it? Cost anyone? Take it back to dealer or aftermarket? Seems to me it is worth it considering the look of bugsplat.
Is there any danger of doing this and having the paint underneath age differently as in the bras of yesteryear?
I looked at 19" wheels from Wheel Enhancement (several pair) and was blown away at how expensive they were......$5k, not including $110 for shipping, nOT including the tire air pressure sensors.....which were another $500.
I was thinking that just wheels would have cost me more like $500 each MAX.
I just want these for track......
I will post in other areas....since this is just a photo thread. But any help you can give while here....feel free!
