What price will I pay if I order in Ontario?

I hope to order a 2008 Cayman next spring and was wondering what I will have to pay. With the price dropping to $63500 for 2008 from $69600 is there any chance that I might also get a discount. I am ordering as I only want [can afford] a few options and the car will be almost exactly $70000 before pdi, frt and fees. Would 10 % be out of the question or maybe no fees and just add the taxes? Here in SW Ontario there are only two dealers so working one against the other would be tough. It seems to me that dealers should discount ordered cars as they are sold and not going to be sitting on the lot but I was told they cannot get enough cars and ordered cars just take away allotted cars.

What have others in Ontario found when ordering a car?

Thank you,

RET

With the new Market Adjustment price you are unlikely to get any discount......
There is not enough competition in Ontario for the dealers to worry about...

Have you considered importing one from the US....you can probably get a Cayman S (in US) for the price of the Cayman (in canada).

Move to the States!!

..Live in Buffalo and buy it there. That will be your best bet to getting an affordable CS!!

You don't want to pay the 14% taxes.

Please can someone that has recently ordered a car comment on what percentage of list they paid.

It seems many of you think the best way to go is buy in the U.S. As the Canadian dollar moves closer to par that looks better each day.

Thank you,

I received one of the first 08's in ontario after ordering the car in April. The dealers are quick to offer a 3% discount. If you don't order the options included in the market adjustment they will discount the option price from the purchase.

"If you don't order the options included in the market adjustment they will discount the option price from the purchase." quoted from above

So if I do not want the newly made standard heated seats and auto climate control I can save the ~$1300 they would have cost in 2007 therefore making the base car cost ~$62000?
