2009 Cayman S purchase

I have been waiting for my dealer to receive their next allotment of cars, as I am planning on ordereng a CS to my specifications. I spoke to the dealer this morning and he told me there were zero boxters/caymans included in their allotment. He suspects that I will have to wait until next spring to order a 2010 model. He will know more once the Porsche rep visits them the third week of July. I'll just keep dreaming of my first Porsche until then.

Welcome! As rumored around here something is definitely cooking for the 2009/2010 model years.

Yeah, the wait is hard but you benefit by having the latest and greatest when it does happen. Look at it this way, gives you more opportunity to review / change your specs.

no 2009 Caymans

The dealer just called me with information on ordering a car. The 2008 model will continue to be built into the fall and some dalers have allotment to still order them. There will be no 2009 model and the 2010 model will be out March/April of 2010. No specs or prcing on the 2010's just yet.
