ebay Motors - Penkse Direct - Relationship with Dealers?

Hi Everyone. This is my first post here at The Cayman Club and I have enjoyed visiting and lurking for a while now. I am a prospective Cayman owner and I have been watching various auctions on ebay Motors as part of my homework. One seller who lists a number of cars is called Penske Direct. The cars offered for auction show up for a fixed price on dealer websites across the country.

I was wondering if someone could explain the relationship this company (or type of company) has with the dealers and whether or not this type of relationship helps (or hurts) the possibility of obtaining a better deal via an auction on ebay.
