OK, I didn't technically order it but my dealer took my $500 deposit and said I'm #1 on his list when it comes time to place the order with Porsche. He said it will probably ship in the first quarter and be a 2010 model, although he promised nothing and said he was only passing along what everyone else was saying. He also warned me that most likely not all options will be available immediately, much like the Cayenne. He thinks PDK will only be available in the S initially. He said he drove the PDK and it's awesome.

I placed my order for a 2003 350Z months before it was available and ended up getting serial #57. I test drove the Boxter at the time but wanted a winter driver and couldn't see it in a convertible with a plastic window in back. Can't wait to join the Porsche brotherhood next spring.
