Canadian Sales Price?

Hello to all, been thinking lately of taking the plunge on a CS either 08 or perhaps 09. I have been reading on this board of all the great deals that the dealers in the US have been giving (not to mention the lower MRSP). Does anyone have any experience with Toronto dealers? List price on a CS is 75300. What can i get one on the road for. 90 percent of brain is going for the CS but 10% still likes the Boxter S (MRSP $70,200). Any help would be appreciated

I'm on the west coast and my gut feeling is it is probably hard to get much of any discount as there is no competition. I think you be lucky to be in Toronto as there is much more competition. I was surfing all the Canadian dealers sites just a few days ago and noticed Pfaff had a couple of CS specials on at a significant discount (under base MRSP plus they each probably had 10k+ in options). I would just hope they aren't demos, but I didn't see anything that said that. So you might want to see what they will do for you on price.

I got my 08 CS from Pfaff. I was considering importing but decided not to in the end. I was all set to get a new Cayman from DT porsche (the salesman went as low as 8 points off the price) but then I saw this slightly used one from Pfaff so i snagged it.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

Hey thanks for the info. I was also thinking of importing but have since decided against it. I have not negotiated with either Pfaff or Downtown yet (Hoping to this weekend). Hmm 8%, i wonder if they wil do that for me if i put money down on a 2010 as opposed to the remaining 08 inventory

Am also on West Coast. Vancouver and Victoria are both offering discounts on remaining stock - 8-10%, and aren't expecting new cars until next April.
Checked in Bellingham, and a low mileage 07 base Cayman with few options was offered for $50K, so no big savings there.
I guess if you must have a direct injection S with PDK, you won't mind paying the premium for it next year. On the other hand, how often can you buy a Porsche at a discount?
