Question Buying 2007 cayman

I'm going to test drive a 2007 tommorow.
it's used with 3900 miles . seems like basic 5 spd little if any options .
I started looking for a used boxster for around $ 20-25,000. I had a '02 S and was happy with it . Saw the Cayman and love it .Don't need the rag top so C car is perfect.
This used cayman has low miles but the lug nuts and calipers look very worn and rusty ?? . The rest of the car is mint.
Price is right or is it? at $ 39,900. Could use some advice . trying to keep cost down so S was not an option .. My old box S HAD 250 HP about same as reg cayman

price is right, I'd offer a little less, $37,900?
if you're concerned, get a pre-purchase inspection done, but it's still in warranty
do a search, there's plenty of prior advice on same subject

Probably an OK deal - FYI, I bought a brand new Cayman S last winter for $50.6 (a closeout '07 purchased new in Feb 08)

I wouldn't buy at that price. Right now dealers are selling new cars at invoice or 500 above, which i read would be 43,075 for a base cayman no options at edmunds.com.

Offer $36.5 and if they bite. If they are selling it for $39.9 there has to be some wiggle room in there.
