Hey Guys

Hi Chaps,

I am new to the forum even though I registered a while ago. I am currently saving my pennies for a white Cayman S. Are there any area's to look for when looking at a 2nd hand one? Other than normal accident damage, hpi's etc..

Also when is the face lift car due?

Many Thanks

Andy

Make sure it has had any service campaigns done to it, see if you can get a shop to check it out for you, do a leakdown test, check the ECU readout for over-revs, etc. and if everything checks out with the car and the price is right then buy it!

One thing the FAQ's can not help you with is what I call emotional drive. I suggest at a minimum being aware of it and each of us employs various tactics to control it. If I could give any worthy advise to anyone buying a car as emotional as the Cayman, it would be to control your emotional drive.
In short, contorl the situation do not let it control you.

BTW: No HP gain for emotional drive, just dollor drain.
