Cayman chassis type and photos

Been musing on about this, I've come across several different descriptions of the Cayman chassis type from monocoque to unitary steel to Unitized Body/frame?

Can somebody elaborate further on this? Also the illustration of the Cayman chassis I have is the one from the brochure (not very clear since it's a transparent diagram with several other components super-imposed), anyone as a link to a photo of the "naked" chassis?
