tone/color of Bi-Xenon head lamps

is Bi-Xenon the type of light that emits this Blueish tint i see around now days ?

what are the advantages ? I can't say i like it since every time some guy drive pass me with this blue light i get blinded badly.

But it seems over here; Bi-Xenon head lamps is a standard on cayman, and i heard that the caymans Bi-xenon is slightly warmer in tone, is that true ?

I have the bi-xenons. I haven't gone around and looked at them from the front, but from behind the windshield they don't have the blue tint, they're very bright "daylight white".

The "blue tint" comes from the optics of the lens. All stock applications of bi-xenons burn at 4300k, a brilliant white with a slight yellow hint. Nominal daylight is around 5000-5500k. Some people change their bulbs to 6000k but the light has a slight blue tint and anything higher than that will blatantly put out a blue light that will give you eye strain, especially in rain.

yes its those "blingishly" modfied car that has this Blue Beam, its very annoying to the oncoming traffic.

I am glad porsche has the sense to keep it slightly orange, a warm color feels better burned into the back of your retina than a cold color.
