Rotor question

Does anyone have the specification for minimum thickness for a Cayman 2.7 rotor?? I'm swapping Pagid and OEM (trackdays vs DD) back and forth and want to keep an eye on rotor wear. Craig at Rennstore mentioned that the CS rotors are thicker than base, so I need the base thickness spec.
Thanks in advance.

The rorors have the minimum thickness written in the back of the rotors in mm.

Hope that helps.

The min. thickness will be stamped in the metal on the "hat" (grey painted area) of the rotor. You may have to clean it a bit to get a goog look at it.

Did you find it? I did not see the stamp, and still do not know what the minimum is. I am at 23.5mm.

jaica and Atlas_Croc I believe have made the same remarks regarding the 3.4 Cayman Rotors.............

I opened my stock to try to help - and all that is shown, is as your photo - the L & R markings........

Dealer says 2mm wear allowed

Not the answer to your question but perhaps helpful info:

I asked Newport Auto Center the cost to (1) replace only front brake pads, and (2) the cost to replace pads and rotors.

In so many words, he said only 2mm roto wear was allowed, so mostly they only do pads/rotors together. Price $1130. Walter's Porsche quotes $974 for pads/rotors.
