Alignment Require porsche specific tools?

Taking my CS to my alignment guy and he is concerned that he may need some porsche specific tools. he did alignments on a GT3, and GT2 that requires some tools that the customer provided. I was under the car the other day the toe & camber adjusters don't look like anything special. anybody know? thanks in advance.

Good question. That is something I would like to know as well.

Sorry I can't be of any help though.

No special Porsche-only tools needed that I know of. I get alignments at an independent German marques shop (while I'm sitting in the driver's seat), and they've never mentioned any special tools.

New to this forum so this is officially my first post. Hi to all. The alignment can be done without any Porsche specific tools. Tightening the nuts on the rear camber and toe arms to the correct specified torque without the special torque wrench and angled box wrench may present a problem though. It may be possible though.

The alignment computer spec said the gas tank should be full but didn't say anything about sitting in the car.

Welcome luft to CC!

For best results, the car should be loaded to your preferred standard (e.g. with two persaons, or driver only, and cargo) For track use, it is driver only and no cargo. My alignment shop uses plastic-wrapped sand bags to match the driver's weight. They would not like you to be sitting in the car up on the rack.
