I've seen Cayman with 20" wheels before up close and personal. It just seems a bit too much. Even with the 20's in the car, it still has the stance of an SUV. You could fit your closed fist between the top of the tire and wheel arch. IMO, the cayman is begging for a lowering kit.

I agree with you on that. The 20's look awesome on the car but it has to be slammed down to fill in that wheel arch. I did the same thing on my AMG C32; totally changed the look and made it very aggressive.

There's acutually less fender well gap with the 20's due to the slightly taller overall diamater of the tires. It's all an optical illusion.

OE 235/35-19's- 25.5
OZ 245/30-20's- 25.8

OE- 265/35-19- 26.3
OZ- 275/30-20- 26.6

What kind of tires?

They are only 23.6 lbs in the front and 24.5 lbs in the rear! Super light for 20's.

In the photo shoot we used Yokohama Advan Sports. Pirelli also makes P-Zero Nero's in the correct sizes.

OK, so the gap is 3/10" smaller - In my eyes, it's still too big and it still stands like an SUV! optical-hallucination or not.

The way I look at it, if you're gonna spend that kind of money ($7k?) on new wheels & tires, do it right and lower the car and get that aggressive stance.

.....but hey, do what you like!

I can only imagine what the ride would be on a non-PASM car with 20" - a dentist's dream ;-)
