Looking for 18 in wheels

I am looking for original Porsche 18 in wheels (w/tires OK or not) for Boxter or Cayman to use for a set of track wheels. I use my car on a daily basis and as my tires get thrashed from the track, the last few uses make them rough and noisy on the street from the track wear. Anyone who bought aftermarket wheels or plans to I would love to buy your take offs. PM me if you are interested.

18" Wheels

Wheel Enhancements quoted me $1799 a while back for a new set of Cayman 18's without tires. I would also like a set (However I need to sell the 17"s listed in the classifieds first!!!)

Keep an eye on E-bay. when I was looking for a set, I missed out on a couple deals for takes offs with nearly new tires.

One set sold for $1500 shipped. That seemed like a fair deal, given that they came with a set of tires that could probably be flipped for $500.

After some negotiation, I ended up buying a set from a fellow here for about $1300 shipped, and that was w/o tires. The wheels are mint save for one small scrape on the rim of one wheel...easily fixed with a bit of spray paint.

Wheel Dynamics sells nice Porsche 'replica' wheels for $1000. I bought a set of the 19" Carrera Classics and they look great. WD is also very good to work with and the wheels are very close in weight to OEM.

It seems to me the problem with ebay is all the copy wheels. Finding genuine Porsche wheels, which I trust, versus Chinese wheels, which I trust a lot less at 125 mph on the track, braking hard, hitting a tight banked corner at several g's... is pretty hard.

Anyway, if anybody has some, let me know.
