What do you think about these wheels?

They're pretty cheap. They kind of look like a set of Niche Shocks I had on my Supra. Anyone else feeling these???

They are ok. What is the weight of the wheel? They look heavy.

Are those Nad Wheels NAD6's?

let see... Nad6:

Similar to... Techart Formula II

Considering the NAD's are half the price of the techarts, I say if you like that design, why not? Unless they weigh too much, I personally wouldn't go over 27 lbs on 19's, 30 lbs on 20's.

I called this morning and the guy from ATW (manufacturer of NAD) said "they're real light...about 30lbs". Which is cool...except for the fact that I was previously looking into these

and was told by someone (that I trust) that they weigh 39lbs w/o tires! How is this relavant? Well I called RH (in NC) and asked the guy how much the wheels weigh. Guess what he said? "they're real light...about 30lbs" The RH are 2 piece wheels and are casted. The NAD wheel is a 1 piece wheel and is spin casted as well. Both are approx the same price with tires. The RH set will be 3rd hand (tires too approx. 4k miles) and the NAD will be new. What do you guys think? I kind of like the look of the NAD wheels better.

Suneet: Yeah...they do look almost identical don't they? I figured if I was gonna go for a knock off, I didn't want anything that looked "like" it. I wanted it to be a BLATANT COPY with a different logo Plus, you get a lip with these!

30 lbs for 19s? or 20s? If they're 19s then 30 lbs is heavy. Mid-20s for 3-piece wheels is considered lightweight.

Tres,

Call DNJ Wheels in Cali and see if they will give weigh the wheels for you, they seem to have plenty on stock, albeit in other bolt patterns. (714) 799-7126. If anything they'll have the wheels weighed for shipping purposes, since they do a lot of ebay business.

GMP gave me precise weights for those RH wheels because at the time I was really interested in buying the set and had price quotes from them and everything.

Even the techart wheels are cast using a "special lightweight alloy." And believe it or not, even they say the wheels are "about 30 lbs."

Wow didn't know that! Casted wheels for 1k plus a wheel?!! That's ridiculous. No wonder the person on this site with their (Techart) 20's has such piss poor dyno numbers....I'm gonna have to re-think this entire situation....

***Just called DNJ and he says each wheel weighs approx 34lbs. Anyone know how much say an HRE 20" wheel weighs?
