Finally got the Volk Racing wheels delivered (after 5 months on order). They are the TE37's (Gunmetal) 18x10 rear and 18x8.5 fronts - 1 piece forged and are MUCH lighter than the 18" Victor Equipment wheels that I was running previously on the track. I've only had 1 track day with the Volks, but the difference is very noticeable. I've attached a few (poor quality) pics.

I'm running Yoko Neova's on the track - 295/30R18 and 235/40R18. I don't know the exact wheel weights, but I think I am saving about 6-7lbs per wheel versus my (old) Victor Equipment track wheels. The difference I felt (and it is only based on 1 track day) is kind of hard to define, but the car feels a little livelier - quicker accelerating, stronger braking and crisper turn-in. I should add that I also changed to GT3 seats nat the same time, so between the Volks and the new seats, I have reduced the cars weight considerably, so the changes I sensed were a function of the both the seats (about 40 lbs saved) and the Volks. I'm going to be doing another 5 track days this month (Mosport and Watkins Glen) so that should give me more opportunity to really understand the difference.

Nice wheels, doesn't really fit the lines of the cayman. But they are one of the lightest and strongest wheel out there. I missed my CE28 on my bimmer ;(
I use the Neovas almost exclusively for the track, including driving to/from the track. I got almost 30 track days from my first set, and I'm now 2 days into my second set. I'll try to post bigger/better pics when I get a chance.

Thanks Steve. Congrats on the new wheels. I checked the weights and the Volks are 18.0 front and 18.9 back (tirerack). The OEMs are 22.0 and 23.6 (kman).
So a total savings of 17.4 lbs in rotational unsprung weight. This is a fair amount and prob does help performance quite noticeably, especially of you are using the same tire width as with the OEM wheels (less flex in sidewall since wider wheel and same tire).
Are the weights you quoted for the OEM Porsche wheels ? The weight reduction I was referring to was Volks versus the Victor Equipment wheels (18 x 8 and 18 x 11) that I was using as track wheels before the Volks. They were (I think) heavier than the OEM wheels, but by how much, I don't really know.
One interesting point, when I originally switched to the Volk wheels, I used the wheel bolts that came with CS with my Carrera S wheels. After the first day driving with the Volk wheels, I noticed the wheel bolts were working themselves loose - on the fronts primarily. Never had this issue before, and after multiple re-torques the problem persisted. I switched to studs and lug nuts (which I was considering anyways) and now I have no problem with the nuts working themselves loose. Never had the problem with the OEM Carrera S wheels or the Victor Equipment wheels, but for whatever reason, it was an issue with the Volks. Maybe it had something to do with the wheel bolts I was using. Not sure about that, but it's not a problem now.
And for Bill C,
I purchased the wheels from a local performance tire shop in the Toronto area (Revolution Wheels & Tires) and the price was about $2,500 Cdn. I believe they're also available through Tirerack, and likely cheaper from them too.

Wow looks good boinkus44! I didn't think the TE-37's would look good against the Cayman's curves. It works. I can attest to the "livelier" feel. I had a set on my NSX.
