I just installed my winter wheels/tires today.....a rainy day but by mid week we are expecting some wet snow.
BSA wheels 18x8 fr; 18x10 rr
Bridgestone Blizzak LM-25: 235/40/18 fr, 255/40/18 rr.

It rained just as I finished so pardon the state of the car....it looks like it needs a set of lower springs. My summer wheels are the 19" Sport Design. The car sensed that new wheels were on and it automatically recalibrated and asked for settings which I entered the winter wheel option (very smart
tpms).
Here are some photos:
I still only plan to use it on better winter days only......no deep snow or freezing rain.

TPMS - The Tire Pressure Monitoring System provides early warning of any drop in pressure by continuously monitoring the pressure in each tire and alerting you in the onboard computer display in the event of a pressure deficiency. It communicates the exact pressure of each tire and/or their deviation from ideal pressure. This does away with the need for regular air pressure checks at the service station, which often prove highly inconvenient.
See the TPMS FAQ for more info. |
