Does anyone have pics of the Carrera sport wheels on a Cayman?

These are the wheels I am asking about.

They are 19x8.5 and 19x11.5 off of a Carrera, would they fit the Cayman ok?

i want wider wheels in the back. Let me know if you find out if they'll fit or not. I was thinking about getting the rears off of a Carrera for my CS

I think the 11.5 will be too wide, but we will see.

What are the specs on yours?

can't remember off the top of my head but i believe my rears have a 42 offset and they're 10 wides. I'm pretty sure with the right tire size and spacer they could fit with no problem. I just haven't had a straight answer from any places that i've called

The 10" Carrera Sport wheels are designed to fit and work on the CS. The 11.5 wheels are designed to fit and work on the 997. I strongly suspect that the 11.5s are too wide for the CS, as they take a 295 or 305 tire width. Even if you could find some way to get them to fit without rubbing, the extra weight would reduce acceleration and braking efficiency, and the 3" width stagger would increase understeer. In short, unless you seek to ruin your life forever, get wheels designed for the CS rather than the Carrera S.

This is my car. I think the Carrera Sports are the best looking factory wheel.

Every Wheel is in the FAQ

Every Wheel is also most likely in the Wheel Section of the Gallery

11.5" will not fit in the rear. If you are interested we have a replica version of this wheel that is available with a 10.5" rear wheel. (not on our site as of yet)

The largest we have fit on Cayman is 11" rear et51 with 15mm spacers. The 11s will not fit with OEM suspension. You will need coilovers for added clearance.

Are you saying a 11" +40 or +38 does not fit a Cayman with OEM suspension?

Because I think a 11" +45 already works fine with the stock suspension. A 11x19 that is.

Based on our recent exp. fitting 19x11 to the rear of CS the 11" et37 would not fit the CS with the factory suspension. The owner swapped out the OEM suspension for PSS coils and had a half pinky clearance in the rear.

Tech-Art also supplies 15mm spacer with their 11" rear wheels for CS fit for an effective offset of 38mm.

I highly doubt et45 on a 19x11 will work.

You are correct with the +45 not working! I forgot to mention to add the 5mm spacer with the +45, so it becomes +40, which should work. +40 is also what Rinspeed does...
Correct, Techart brings their 19” +52 wheels down to even +37 (with the 15mm spacer).
So anywhere from +37 to +40 should be good with stock suspension.
Do you agree with that?
