Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric

Anyone try these tires yet? From the reviews, they seem to be everything the PS2 is and more. They almost seem designed for the Cayman. A staged testing event had a Cayman equipped with the different tires for comparison.

What does Tire Rack have to say about them? Think I read some where that they have a high noise level. Not sure of source.

Tire Rack rated these #1:

-- "In dry conditions, the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric proved fastest of
the group. Plenty of overall grip and a neutral front/rear balance
made this tire easy to drive quickly and at its limit."
-- "In the wet, the Goodyear again finished ahead of the other three
tires in this test, this time by a wider margin."

You might be confusing this with the old GSD3s. These are supposedly as quiet as PS2s while being more grippy.

I just put a set of F1s on my car. We get such a small amount of snow here in Eastern Virginia that it's not worth buying snow tires. Goodyear and Yokohama are the only companies that make all-season radials and the Goodyears were much less expensive and rated better. I'll let you know how they match up to PS2s in a couple months.
