CCW C10 Wheels offset

I'm ordering a set a CCW C10 9x18 front and 10x18 rear in black. John at CCW is looking into suggesting offsets for front and rear but since he hasn't done many Cayman wheels I'd like to put it to the group to recommend offsets.

I'm looking for the wheels to be nice and near flush with the fenders but no more. Also, anyone with experience with CCW wheels I'd love to get feedback.

Thanks.

The CCW website shows a Cayman in their gallery. Are you sure they have done no Caymans? Perhaps just not in the style you are seeking?

I have an order into john now for same size c10s. I ordered 33mm rear offset based on what what i think will fit & that is the offset of the RAC wheel GB. John was little skeptical that was too aggresive so he's gonna make up a wheel w/o final machining, mount a tire on it & ship to me to verify fit. I'm sure he could do the same for you. for front we decided on 50mm which should be fine.

I was just looking for the RAC GB offsets, thanks, that thread is biblical in proportion. John mentioned that he thought 40mm in back was good but 33mm would be even better if it fits. When do you think you'll have the test wheel? I'll be calling CCW tomorrow.

With 33/50mm are you hoping to maximize track width? Did you go with powdercoating or the "brightpoint" ano'd he's been testing with?

yeah, i wanna go wide but still be able to clear a 285 r-compound. im fairly confident thise will work with a 33. i think i even told john 35 to be safe but it's been a while so i will confirm with him. i was gonna do the silver finish. Im supposed to pick up my car tonight or tomorrow, and will call john to have him send me the wheel.
