please help with my backspacing.

After reading every thread in this section and trying to get a grasp on the offset numbers I then found rims listed with back spacing numbers. AArgh! I'm having a hard time visulizing what doesn't work. I think I could almost take my stock rear wheel and bolt it on the front to see what this aftermarket front will look like.

I have a stock s with 18's which are f 8 et 57 and r9 et 43, I think.

The 19's I'm looking at are f 8.5 et 45 and r 10.5 et 50.

Using the logic of +4mm for every half inch added I would think I need to stay around f et 61 and r et 55 for these rim widths.

So the way I see it the rears are going to stick out 5mm more than they do now and the front will be sticking out 15mm more and getting close to the fende edges.

Am I right?

thanx.

Thanx, as I thought. Theother link I found for the calc is down for maintenance. 18mm more for the front is a lot.
