Looking for 997 Turbo rims/tires

Does anyone have 997 Turbo take-offs they're looking to sell? Or any ideas where to find a nice set (besides Ebay)? Any help or ideas would be great!

Also, has anyone run a 19x11 with a 305/30/19 in the rear of their Cayman S with coilovers?

I did speak with them today. It looks like a set of replicas with tires will run more than I can buy OEM take-offs for. I'm still weighing everything but may end up with the OEM's. In fact, I'm talking to someone right now about a set. I'll let everyone know if I end up with them.

Thanks!

Ok, I bought the OEM set tonight. I'll get some pics up within the next 2 weeks of the car riding on the Sachs coilover and the 997 turbo wheels! It's going to be a tight fit in the rear (305/30/19 PS2's). Can you say, "fender roll"?

Time to put the Carrera S "lobsters" with PS2's up for sale...

Let me know when you install them. I was thinking of picking some up and wanted to know if the 305 fits.

I know the 295 fits but I'm guessing that it will depend on how the suspension is set up as to whether or not the 305's will fit. With my coilovers the top of the tire stuffs up in the fender so its not near the fender. Maybe this will make enough room for it to fit. I'll keep everyone posted once I get them on in a couple of weeks!

Great to hear! From what I've read, they will fit "better" with a coilover setup like I have and what you're planning to do. I think it's the toe/angle that allows the tire to tuck up in there. I should have them installed on Friday and will post feedback.

I'm running 20" with 11" wide. My tires are 305-25-20 and I have H&R coilovers. I am quite low and have no rubbing isues at all, had to change spacers from 15mm to 17mm though because of the ride height.

20x11? WHOA! Rollin' on dubs! That has to be the biggest overall wheel I've seen stuffed in a Cayman. What brand/type of tire are you running? Do you track the car at all?

Weedo, no, I dont tack the car at all. The wheels do look big, but trust me, once you see mines a couple of times 19" will look small. Wheels are Techart Formula and tires are ContiSportContact 3. Oh, and I have a Boxster S.

I was wondering about tracking it because I figure it would be hard to find agressive tires in a 20". I did see a CS with 20" on it and it was lowered; looked good...
