I'm currently looking for some 18" rims, but have another DE coming up. So if I can't get a hold of some in time I need a plan B, which is replace my rear tires.

Problem is they are stock 235/50/17.....and have been discontinued. They are the sport contact 2's and don't want to upgrade all 4 to the sport contact 3's.

So here is my idea....Buy some 245/45/17" sport contact 2's instead.....good idea???

If they are within 4% of the same rolling radius you would be fine, you can check that with some tools freely available on the internet and I think one is even linked in via our FAQ...
