Powder Coated Turbo Wheels and Painted Centercaps.

Just picked up my center caps today after having my wheels powdercoated last week. The wheels are powdercoated gloss black and the center caps were the stock silver ones. I had my guy mask the Porsche emblem and paint the outside black to match. I think it turned out pretty good. The car and wheels are really dusty so I will take some better pictures later. While I'm at it, I'll align the center caps to the "correct" position too.

Now I am just waiting for my silver hood badge and the outside will pretty much be done.

What do you guys think?

They do look good... you didn't happen to weigh them did you??

Here's another interesting spin on it... the anthracite accents have been painted black, one of the "exclusive options" available by Porsche.

(the wheels are currently on ebay)

Sorry didn't weigh them. I should have thought to though. Those black highlights look good too. But I prefer the all black look. Here's a pic of my M5 I gave up in favor of the Cayman. Wish I could have kept both of them but I would have to quit my job and become a fulltime detailer for my cars.

Looks great. I am getting mine in a month's time. Are you running 305/30 or 295/30 for the rear rims?

These are the Cayman "Turbo" wheels. I am running the stock sizes 235/265. They may look a little wider because I have 5mm spacers in the front and 15mm spacers in the rear. The 15's make a big difference in the look.

Wow, that means your offset would be down to about 27mm at the rear. Are you sure that's good for your suspension? Please post from clear shots of your wheels if you can. Thanks.
