Angry Found a Pot Hole ;-(

My wife found a pot hole last Thursday and she said all alarms showed up that she had -31psi in the front left tire.

Well the side wall was ripped open but it didn't seem the wheel suffered as it occurred at one of the spokes. The tech doesn't believe the wheel needs replacing. How else should I check the wheel.

Should I replace the right front also as it has 12k miles on it?

You can just spin the wheel on a balancer, like when you get new tires. Should be able to tell how symmetrical it is.

Take it to any wheel shop and they can check it for you too.

im three months in and already had a nice bubble on my front right (19inch sport design). Not to sound like other Manual Spouters buttttttt as per the manual i replaced both fronts at 8k. Makes sense tires with two different wear amounts would put different stresses on the suspension and the overall handling of the car would be affected.

Dont know if you have 19's but i have a front tire with 8k miles on it if you are interested, send me a pm if you are

I have 19" sport designs as well. In 8 months Ive destroyed 2 front tires and bent the inside of my left front wheel slightly. All of this in Baltimore city, not pot holes but the damn manholes which are everywhere and sometimes up to 5" below grade and sharp on the edges! This has been a real pain in the #$$!! I feel your pain!

Wow, are the 19" Sport Designs cursed? I know another SD owner that had a blowout on a pothole last month.
