PS2 Question

Michelin PS2 are great tires but I have a problem with its looks. The sidewall doesn't sit flush with the surface of the rim, it curves inwards at the outer edge. Any suggestion for better alternatives?

So you prefer form over function? In the car you cannot see the tire/wheel but you can feel the performance so I'd suggest doing nothing. Your definition of "better" would be based only on appearance to the viewer?

That ridge is there to help protect your rims from being scraped so badly (curb rash) if you happen to get too close to an obstruction. These were added by many tire manufacturers at the request of car owners - previously the tires were more flush to the rims and many owners complained they were too susceptible to rim damage because of that.

if it matters that much....just get a razor and trim it
