Tire Options?

I have carrera sport wheels 8.5 front and 10 in the back. What size rubber can I put on the front and back. Car is lowered with Champion motorsports springs. Current tires are 235/35/19 front and 265/35/19 rear. Does anyone have any pics?

thanks

Alan

I run 295 x 35 x 18's on the rear of my Cayman on 10" wide wheels and use 10mm spacers from Ralph Boothe Design to keep it from rubbing on the inner fender well and parking brake cable due to the wheel offset not being ideal. Up front I still run the stock tire size albeit on a 8.5" wide wheel. The rear tires are within a fraction of a percent of the original rolling diameter from the factory. I just have more meat on the pavement.

Hi K-MAN , What is the offset on your wheels? On the carrera sport the offset is 42. I am thinking I might not need spacers. Do you have any pics from the rear showing the tires?

thanks,

Alan

Are these on stock Porsche wheels, or aftermarket wheels? Any issues with rubbing?

Custom forged wheels 19x8.5 and 19x10.5 - ET 38 & 48. No rubbing w/ my KW Var 3's but they rub the shocks on a friends car with Motons - shock diameter is greater.
