Tires 17 18 19?

New to sports car and the Cayman's at the lot close to me are all 17. Can someone give me the jest of the differance between the 3 sizes?

Looks, mainly. There is also a slight difference in performance between the three sizes, but whether it's noticeable will depend entirely on your driving style.

The most significant difference between different wheel sizes will be unsprung weight with the larger the wheel ... usually more weight. Anytime you can reduce unsprung weight you will have quicker acceleration more than just reducing sprung weight.

The 19" wheels also do "turn in" quicker

I think it is more of a personal preference than anything else, however Pete Stoud seem to favor 18" in his evaluation of the car here on this site some time back. I personally like the look of 19".
