Build date given - Delivery Timescale

Fellow Crocks

My dealer has told me that my CaymanS will go into build on 16th February. What is a feasible timescale for it to be completed, shipped to Blighty and prepped by the dealer for delivery?

Cheers

Matt

If you are very very lucky, 4 weeks to actually getting in the car and driving off. That date is normally a completed date. If you are desperate, push the dealer to get you in the car ASAP. he should follow it and get it on the earliest carrier out of the UK 'arrived' depot.

Tense few weeks on the horizon, Matt.

Thanks Jack!

Do you mean 4 weeks from now or the 16th of Feb?

Yes I am tense, I am effectively vehicleless and relying on borrowing a car. I sold my Cayenne privately and it sold much quicker that i expected

Matt

Mine was completed on 31 Jan and has already left Belguim for Sheerness. It should arrive at the OPC around 10 days after this. I have arranged delivery for 3 March.

From the 16th Feb, as Mojo indicated. About 4 weeks from that date.

I had the same dilema of a hire car for several weeks. It does make the rwaiting so much harder, but then the delivery is also so much better in return.

Hi Matt

My completion date was the 10th January, and I could have had the car from the dealership last Tuesday (31st Jan) so that was 21 days after completion. I'm waiting for delivery on the 1st March and its killing me !

Good luck with yours.

Tonse

It must be a nightmare but I think if I was in your position, I would hang on until March as well. February only has one thing going for it and that's that it is only 28 days long! Keep the croc on hold until spring arrives!
