Hi all,

A lot of discussions around dlivery times from build date. What I would like to know is :- How long does it take on average from order date to delivery.

Thanks

It depends where you order from, my two local dealers have lead times of 14-18 months.

Thanks for the replies, I should have said that I live in Scotland.

Holy s***, 14-18mths. That's insane. I cannot see myself waiting that long for a car. I'll be looking to order around April so hopefully the lead time will have reduced. If not, what's the alternative ? Possibly an M3 ??

Cheers

Davy

from OPC average 4 months, check independants they may have some on pre order.

Check the thread on here, I think it is Mark who has to sell his pre order.

indeed, my car is still available. I went miles way to get a car for March. I'm sure the dealer would hang on to it until April if you're interested

markwm,

Thanks for letting me know but the car will be a company car and they will only deal with their authorised dealers, ie a local one in Edinburgh. I'll check out the availability nearer April and see if my local dealer can 'source' anything.

Thanks for the comments
