Porsche Finance
Hi guys
Just been told my Cayman should arrive in a week, but will wait til 1st March for pick up.
Can't wait.
Just wondered if anyone had organised finance through Porsche, and what was the best rate obtained.
Can anyone recommend any other company for good rates.
Thanks
Tony

I managed to knock the APR rate down to 7.9% at Porsche Centre West London, although I didn't go for Porsche Finance in the end. If you talk to the Finance Manager there (Chris Blake) you can negotiate it down a little. You can get a straight loan at 5.5% to 5.6% quite easily by the way.

Haggle!
I got my finance for 4.5% simply by playing one dealer off against another.

The finance offered by Porsche isshocking i arranged my own deal with a lender and reduced the monthly payments by nearly £300 A MONTH!!!!! whilst keeping the same end figure
Porsche really do rip you off with thier finance.

Did you get a straight loan or a PCP-type arrangement?

Who did you use? I've not sorted this out yet, currently planning on using Porshe finance but if there are better deals out there... I liked the idea of the Porshce option as it doesn't seem very prescriptive on mileage limits or duration of the contract that some PCP's seem to be. That said I'm new to car finance, always funded with a personal loan before but not to this value obviously.

I used a finance broker called Mann Island. They do deal with a lot of Porsche dealers and as i said i found them much much cheaper.

Hi Caymanspur
What rate did you manage to get from Mann Island if you don't mind me asking.
My Cayman has arrived at the dealers and am trying to get finance organised.
I'm not happy with the rates offered by Porsche.
I'm looking to pay a small deposit and pay a balloon at the end.
Any help would be really appreciated.

JJC that seems like a good deal a total price of £55,920 for a £49,500.
However the deal Mann Island put forward for me gives a total price of £56,080 for a £51,000 car.
The offer porsche offered me was a monthly amount of £750.

CAYMANSPUR That makes mine seem like a bad deal to me,bear in mind you have paid 1k less interest on a more expensive car for four years gainst three.I had better do some haggling.Actually mine is not quite as bad as it seems as I have 35 payments to make not 36. J
